Should The Hematomas Beside The Eye Be Drained?

I have a two hemotobas next to my left eye from a bad fall 1 week ago. Do I need to have them drained? I m also still black and blue and wondering if they are slowly leaking making my bruising worse. I look horrible! My daughter is getting married in two months and I need this to get better soon.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Thanks for asking a question at Healthcaremagic

Yes, it is god to drain the hematoma if it persists

If it is small, sometimes it gets resolved by itself

Consult a General surgeon, so that he will take extra care of your eye and drain it if required.

Hope that helps!

Best Regards
Dr Chaithanya
