Should The Nodule On Thyroid Be Operated Due To Diagnosis Of Chronic Tonsilitis And Allergy?
A nodule was found on my thyroid a year ago. It s one cm. Just last month an ultrasound was done and the nodule has not grown (one cm). All blood tests and thyroid scans have come back normal. Have had pain near Adam s apple and jawline (left side). Went to ENT and she said I suffer from chronic tonsillitis and allergies, does any of this affect the thyroid and should I get tonsils removed? Also have had weight loss, is a biopsy something I should consider for the nodule?
HI Thank for asking to HCM Just hold down and take it easy, no need to think for a suffocated and complex type of investigation, and that is for no big health issue, no need to remove the tonsil, it will be alright with the proper antibiotic (If needed ) otherwise simple NSAID also gives very good result, just try it and have nice day.
