Should The Tablet's Full Dosage Be Continued Or Not?

Hi Doc,
A specialist put me on 1 tablet per day(100) for an inflamed thyroid, and after 4 weeks i started to feel not good and then i brake the tablets in half, but i feel at this moment tired but will do a test in 2 weeks time should i continue with half a tablet per day?

In my opinoin you should never change the dose of drugs without talking with your treating doctor.I need more details why you doesnt feel well with 100 mg Levothyroxine...what do you feel?if you are feeling tired now with half dose of hormonal replacement this means that the dose to controll hypothyroidism,is not enough.i think you should continue with 1 tb or 100mcg untill the day you will repeat the thyroid tests(two weeks)and than discus with your doctor for the dose in the future.
