Should Treatment For Lyme S Disease Be Taken For Life Time?
Hi, I m being diagnosed with Lyme disease the doctor think I probably have it for a while because of the symptoms I already have.i have to take antibiotics for two months my question is.After finish my medication the Lyme disease will be gone or I have to continue taking another antibiotic or other medicines for the rest of my live? Thanks
Lyme disease is not life long. It usually get fully cured after antibiotic course. Now, it varies from person to person as in some patients it can completely go away in 4-6 weeks after treatment while others can feel post treatment fatigue for a few months. For now, I would just advice you to continue your treatment, rest and stay calm.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
