Should Treatment For Insulinoma Be Started Immediately?

my dr. and blood tests suggest I have insulinoma I have 2 small tumors on my adrenal glands and they think maybe one in the pancreas that didn t show up on the cat scan... I have to wait to get into a endocrinologist it could take some time...should I be concerned about the length of time I have to wait ?

Thanks for posting your query.

The tumors or the Insulinoma are slow growing tumors . So it doesn't make any significant difference but these Insulinomas are Insulin secreting tumours.

This Insulin can result in recurrent low blood sugars which can sometimes be fatal .

So there is no problem if it takes time to visit your Endocrinologist but till then make sure that you keep eating frequently and never skip or delay having food .
