Should Ultrasound Cavitation Be Avoided When Pregnant?
I ve seen a few similar posts; however, I had ultrasound cavitation done on my arms within the last week and yesterday found out I m 5 weeks pregnant. Many of the websites prompting this form of weight loss therapy advise against pregnant women using this treatment. I m concerned that it may have altered the cells or caused damage to the embryo. The only journals I can find about the risks talk about potential damage to hearing (given the high pitched sound), which would be later in the fetus s development, but I m having difficulty finding out more. Any advice would be much appreciated.
