Should We Be Concerned About The Bruise And Pain In Hip After A Fall?

My husband fell down a flight of stairs over a week ago now he has a huge bruise on his hip area and states it hurts when he moves a certain way. He can walk and go up and down stairs. But every so often he bends over from pain. Then it goes away, until he moves I'n bed or bends. Should we be concerned?

Hello madam , i am sorry to hear that your husband had fallen in staircase and got hurt in a hip . How old he is ?Since he is able to walk , there might be no fractures.Still I would suggest to take an X ray Hip joint to rule out fractures . possibly, there would be a contusion in the bruised area .
Antiinflammatory and analgesic would do ...
