Should We Be Concerned If An Infant Coughs And Has Liquid Come Out Of Her Nose?
my 2 month old baby girl was taken to the dr today and they said she has upper respitory infection, she has been throwing up, coughing, and diarrhea she has not been running a fever at this point. moments ago she coughed and liquid came from her nose and mouth, is that a issue we need to be concerned about???

Helli. Thank you for your question. I am sorry your daugjter is not well. Considering her symptoms, and the fact she has been recently checked by your doctor, there is no reason to be alarmed. It is most likely that it was nasal mucous that you saw coming from her nose. You may continue to see this for the next few days. Unless you see the color red, you can relax.
