Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Since a child I have suffered on and off with a fast heart beat when resting. It can be triggered by a quick moment for example picking something off the floor. It's like there is a switch from normal resting heart rate to like I have just been sprinting. I go light headed and dizzy. My back muscles tighten and you can see my clothes moving near my heart. Bending down and taking a few deep breaths makes it all stop immediate and go back to normal. After a minute or two I'm fine to carry on. It only last a minute or two. I had an ecg as child and said all ok. Im 31 and had recent episode which got me thinking. I'm fit and in the army so scared to see doctor in case it ruins my career.
