Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Since my second C section 2 yrs ago, I have been miserable. I never had migraines before and I have had 2. One time I vomited, another time I felt like I was going to vomit. I have constant head and neck pain. I was also in a car accident in Feb 2015 which probably made everything worse. I finally was able to go to a family doctor. She did an X-Ray of my neck. She said that I have some bone degeneration and some extra bone growth. She recommended physical therapy which I have not been to yet. Could this degeneration be causing the tender spot at the back and base of my skull to hurt? Could this also have caused the migraines? I told the doctor that I am tired all of the time, I feel like I need caffeine for energy. I used to have Anemia as a child but they said my iron is fine. She took blood. My protein levels were high so I had to go back and get it done again to make sure. Haven't got the results yet. I read that high protein levels could be due to inflammation. Could my pain In my head be from inflammation as well? My left hip makes a clicking sound when I raise my leg and put it back down. I have constant lower back pain also. Could all of this be related? Should I have further scans done such as a MRI? I am only 32 and I feel like a 60 year old. I did not feel like this after my first C section. Maybe something is out of place from pregnancy? I was a bus driver for 6 years which can be rough on the body but I recently obtained a full time desk job which does not help either. I always try to have good posture at work though. I don't know what to do. I guess try the physical therapy for now and see if it helps? Massage therapy helps just temporarily. I also have joint pain in my left shoulder. The pain in my neck and head is on the right side. I am a mess. :0(
