Sir I m suffering from melasma over my forehead, some portion of cheeks n also neck for the last 25 years at the last delivery of my son due to hormonal imbalances as told to me by the dermatologist. Further at the same time ie 25 yrs ago I also underwent single ovary removal due to ovarian cyst. Now for this prolonged melasma my dermatologist has prescribed me Pinodin-TX twice daily along with Vit-C 500 twice daily + Salicylic Acid DS 2% face wash once in the morning + Kojivit Plus(morning)+Aziderm 10% night.l m using these for the last fortnight.Sir are these particularly Pinodin-TX safe to be used for prolonged period i.e 3-4months since this particular drug contains Traxemic Acid to be safe ? Here I want to disclose now I m 50 and attained a menopause for last one year.
