Sir,my son is 5yrs old and he weighs 15 Kgs.he was suffering from cough and cold(no fever), and he has been prescribed opox DT 100 twice daily for 7days,xpect PD syrup 4ml thrice daily for 7days,pan 20MD DT one daily for 7days,telkast Lkid 1tab daily for 7days,Omnicortil DT 10 mg twice daily for 5days.we did not give the child omnicortil after learning it to be a steroid.did I do the right thing.his problem has subsided a lot now.are the medicines Prescribed safe for my children considering the fact that he suffered from ITP when he was only 2yrs old.this problem resolved on its own(within 7days) without the administration of any medicine .
