Skin Burn After Applying Garlic On It, Now What Should I Do ?
Hi, I have applied garlic on the cheecks around 45 days back.My skin was burnt and light yellow fluid was oozing from the skin.Is this a severe burn?My skin got peeled may be 1/4 to 1/2 mm deep. Now my skin is light pink to creamish colur on the burned ares but did not come to original skin colour. Also the the level of skin is slightly deeper than the level of normal skin? Will my skin come to same level of normal skin? How much time would it take to cure perfectly so that my skin looks/comes to the original condition? Will it heal perfectly?
hello sweety,
Welcome to healthcaremagic
Thanks for the query
you have to consult a dermatologist and get examined for it.
if it is infected then you may need a course of antibiotic
garlic paste contains sulfenic acid which breaks down into allicin which causes burn.now only consult a dermatologist near to you
take care
Hi sweety;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
If the skin has been peeled due to burning as a result of applying garlic it will heal but will take time.In mean time you need to get treated by a doctor which i guess you have and have to apply ointment for healing of the skin.Once healed the skin will improve but whether it will be perfectly normal or not difficult to say.Consult a doctor in person and get examined and treated as 45 days is been a long time so the burn should be severe.
Take care.
Thanks
hi
u need to consult dermatologist first
because u have burn skin and it take time to heal
dont apply anything other then antibiotic cream
u need to take oral antibiotic tab also
dont apply any cosmetics over affected area
if wound is deeper then u may have not normal skin level and color
without examine one can not tell if it heal perfectly in how much time.
