Skin Tag Along Anus, Itchy, Sore With Pus Filled. Hemorrhoids?
I've had a skin tag along my anus for a few years. Recently is has been very itchy and a little sore. I thought I might have hemorrhoids. I looked at it with a mirror and noticed a small pus filled sore on the skin tag. I squeezed it and it popped and yellow discharge came out. It's been a couple days and it's still a little sore and still has yellowish discharge. What could it be?
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. In my opinion that must be an anal abscess or fistula and you need antibiotic treatment for this. If you were my patient I will suggest you to take tab.amoxicillin 500mg twice daily for 3 days to treat infection and also advise you to make the area clean and dont pop out the thing as there will be more chances of infection instead you can consult a surgeon to know the exact diagnosis and as the drug is prescription drug you need to consult your doctor for this. Thank you.
