Skin Tag In Nose On The Bony Part Separating Nostrils. What Is This ?

I have what I think could be a skin tag in my nose but am not sure. It's on the inside of my nose on the bony part in the center separating my nostrils ( septum). It's hard and a white/flesh color. Originally I thought it was a scab because of how it felt but I haven't had any trauma or reason to have a scab there. Any ideas?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hello and welcome to Health care magic,

I am Dr Sriram Nathan an ENT surgeon and I shall try to help you out with your problem.

The skin tag which you described could be anything ranging from normal structure like a septal tag, a turbinate or a cartilage bulge. It could also be polyp and other pathological structures.

You can take a CT PNS and get back to me or any ENT surgeon with the report to be on the safer side and also to confirm the same.

regards

Dr Sriram nathan
