Hi tavleen...Im in the same boat as you.. 5th month and just cant sleep well. I have wierd dreams when i fall asleep n getting up at least 4 times in the night to go to the bathroom. And also gas and acidity are bothering me. However, few changes that i did recently have helped me somewhat. I put really comfy n soothing bedsheets and quilt cover and i take care to keep my bed very clean. I wash my hands n feet under running warm water for some time before going to bed. I have put a reading lamp and i read something light in bed. And i just sit in my bed, take deep breaths and  pray for 5 minutes before lying down. All this in past one week has helped me to some extent. See if any of these steps r useful for you.

In pregnancy, you should sleep weel so that you get enough rest an dthe baby also gets good nutrition and all that. Even I am pregnant 3 months now, but I sleeep sooo much...no matter how much i sleep it does not feel enough. My doc said it is good to sleep. You beter consult your doc and ask what to do. Dont take sleeping pills though to sleep, it will be harmful to your baby.

Hey preganancy is beautiful, but not for all. I too am a part of this. However i discussed with my doc this time i went for a check. She consoled me saying this too is normal, as mind and body is having changes. and also the bladder getting pressed by my growing baby, so need to pee more often. Sleep, yes, it is disturbed, but now i am trying to think of my baby, talking to my baby and noticed that i am sleeping well from last few days.

I think you are excited to see your baby and that is making you not to sleep, I was pregnant for third time and I never had such issues with sleep
