Slight Cramping And Pulling In Abdomen After Periods. History Of Having Protected Sex On The Day Of Ovulation. Advice

Hi, I am feeling slight cramping and pulling in my abdomen. I have been feeling this way since the last day of my period. My last period started 2 days early on Aug 22 and ended a day early on Aug 24. I believe I had sex with my significant other on the day I ovulated but we used protection. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello ma'am.

The abdominal pain and cramping might not indicate anything significant in most situations, but as mentioned you you, you were ovulating on that particular day but used protection.

In such a situation it is always best to visit your doctor for a physical examination and may be even an ultrasound of the abdomen. You have not mentioned the type of contraception/protection used, if contraception was used it could also be the cause for such a presentation. Please discuss this in detail with your doctor.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
