Small Child Having A Cold, Large Rash, Blisters On Cheeks, Back, Shoulders. Causes For Symptoms?

Hi, my infant has had a cold n sickness for a few days this morning she woke up with a large rash and what looked to be blisters on her cheek back and shoulders, within 3 hours when her body had cooled down they disappeared, am taking her to the doctors, could it come back and what might it be YYYY@YYYY

Thank you for your query.

Rash does appear following fever in most of the viral infections. The duration of the rash can vary with the viral infection. As you have not mentioned the duration of the fever and age of your daughter it very difficult to say which viral infection it could be. It is very unlikely that the rash will re-appear.

You are doing the right thing by getting your daughter examined by the doctor.
