Small Child, Running Nose, Low Grade Fever, Swollen Eyelids. History Of Hand, Foot And Mouth Disease. Treatment?

My 3 year old son woke up yesterday with runny nose and congested. Ran low grade fever yesterday then higher through the night 101-102 and noticed his upper eyelids looked swollen last nite and today. Also noticed few red bumps seem to appear on ears overnite. The eyes and ears don t seem to itch or bother him. Just got over hand foot and mouth about 3 weeks ago. Any ideas?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Good morning, going by the details , i feel that the child may be having viral fever with a rash.
for fever , u can give him warm water sponge baths, oral paracetamol or mefenamic acid based compounds, for his running nose you can give him antihistamines like citrizine or cholrphenaminemaleate. maintain hydration and nutrition. the doses of the above said drugs should be adjusted acoording to the weight of the child , so get a doctor to examine him and then start the medicnes. thank you.
