What Causes Low Grade Fever Along With Body Pain And Runny Nose In Children?
My girl child ( 9yrs) weight 32.5kg is suffering from low grade fever and body aches since last 9 days. It started with a running nose, followed by low grade fever (99-99.5) generally in the evenings only with body aches and joint pain since last 9days.CBC , typhoid, malaria, urine test had nothing abnormal. What can be the possible cause? Please help.
As per my clinical experience, the low grade fever with body pain and runny nose do indicates underlying viral infection of respiratory tract most likely. Guidance for better recovery: - Cold sponging with Collen water - Inhalation of vapors of boiled water added Karvol plus capsules - Syrup of decongestant and anti-pyretic properties
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
