Small Child, Suffering From Constipation, Difficulty Passing Stools. Diet Recommendations?
Our 3yrs old son is daily feeling tough to go for motion, past few days this problem has started... one day his motion was so solid it came half a way out and it is nor breaking nor going back, from that day.. every day it is very tough for him for motion, we don t know what food can be given so he can pass motion freely.. pl help and suggest us..
let him play a lot .........not in front of computer or TV
encourage to take lot of natural fibrous diet............like
fruits.........any fruit........not fruit juices.......oranges, bananas,mango, apple, any seasonal fruit
green leafy vegetables
whole wheat and rice...........
nuts, legumes
reduce polished food......softdrinks.............chips.....

Constipation in children is usually related to dietary intake.
I suggest you to give him plenty of fluids.salad,fruits,green leafy vegetables.
Avoid all kind of fried and junk food.
Give him one spoon of honey daily at bed time.
If problem persist get him evaluated by pediatrician as he may need laxative for few days.
