Small Child Taking Nan Pro 1, Having Frequent Urination, No Weight Gain. Will Switching To Lactogen Help?
My baby is 3 months old Hello Doctor, My baby is 3 months old, and she is on both Breast feed(milk secretion is low) and formula feed (NAN Pro 1). Now Iam planning to change NAN Pro to Lactogen as she is urinating a lot(25 times per day and she is not putting on weight because of frequent urination . Now she is 4.2 kg). Need your suggestion on this.
3 MONTH OLD BABY GIRL WITH FAILING TO THRIVE AND SUCH HIGH FREQUENCY OF URINATION NEEDS TO RULE OUT CERTAIN CONDITIONS LIKE DIABETES INCIPIDUS, BARTER SYNDROME,RENAL TUBULAR ACIDOSIS & CHRONIC RENAL FAILURE ETC. SIMPLY CHANGING THE FORMULA IS UNLIKELY TO HELP .PLEASE GET HER INVESTIGATED THOROUGHLY.
