Small Cut In Body Due To Scratch By Pet Kitten. Put Peroxide, Band Aid With Neosporin. Serious?

My neighbor has a cat that stays outside all day the kitten is always friendly playful and all lovey all the time.. Today she acted no different but as i went outside she jumped at me with both claws and teeth im not sure that the teeth went in because there are 2 lines were her claws were but its always possible... But when she bit me she wasnt mad or anything just like a normal playful kitten... I immediately washed my hands put peroxide on the cut several times n put a bandaid on it with neosporin should i be concerned??

Hi,
Is your pet kitten protected with rabies vaccine ? If not, you need post exposure rabies vaccination. If you are sure of scratch( 2 lines as you mentioned- most likely scratch by claws) by claws no vaccinatin is needed.

Ranjit
