Ear pain in the ear during the winter months along with the perforation (hole), Due to the perforated Tympanic membrane the ear is exposed to external environment and pollution, the middle ear and the nerves to the external ear shall lead to the pain. Ear infection in early childhood is a common cause for the perforation. Based on the state of the ear (if infected or not) you can plan for the surgery called Myringoplasty or Tympanoplasty. In this surgery the hole in the tympanic membrane is closed with a graft being placed on it. This would reduce your symptoms and the prevent any complications that can occur. Regarding the other query, the blackheads are small ?plugs? that develop in the pores of the skin, caused when the over active sebaceous (oil producing) glands in the skin become clogged with oil. Some tips for removing blackheads, 1) Keep your skin as clean and oil free as possible. 2) Use a gentle exfoliant (scrub) to keep the dead cells off your skin and away from the pore openings. 3) A warm compress of water applied to the area of the blackhead followed by a very, very gentle pressure can help in clearing the clog from the pore.
