Small Hole In Tonsil

Hello Doctor... I m just curious because I have a small hole in my tonsil. It s quite painful and it s inflamed. Is it safe to drink erythromycin or clarythromycin? If not, what s the best medication for this?

Hi,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum
The hole is nothing but the crypt of the tonsil. There must be acute infection which is causing the pain. Drink plenty of warm water and do gargles with povidone iodine mouth gargles 3-4 time/day after food.
