I notice these knots earlier this week when washing my hair when I touch them they hurt. Now after a few days I don't have to touch them they still hurt. I notice that my neck hurts more now and my whole right side fees numb sometimes now! Pain killers do not help should I see my doctor or go to the emergency?
Hello.A possible diagnose-in function of the location and size- for knots is lymphadenopathy(increased lymph node size).Lymph node increase in size when there is a near infection and may persist after resolving the infection. Other possible diagnose-in function of the location and redness-is sebaceous cyst infection. In Lowe right of side of head frequently forming cysts may be infected. Initially your pathogy, without fever or other symptoms,is evaluated for primary care doctor but as you are diabetic, the possibility of another pathologies or pathology complications is highest;consequently I advice you go to emergency service to examine you. I wish you good health. (In case the answer would have been useful please indicate this)
