Smelly Vaginal Discharge, Took Medicines, No Relief, Vaginal Swab Test Shows Bacilli, Clue Cells Present. Suggestions?

Hi! Doctor ! My HVS results show that Epithelial cells - (2-3) /HPF Pus Cella _ (4-6)/HPF Gram s stain - Epithelial Cells ( A Few), Pus Cells (moderated) - Small G (-) bacilli present - Clue cells also present. what do I have to do As I got a little smelly discharge without viscous. Even 1 week after metro treatment.. My condition still the same.. Help me please !

I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.

From the swab results, it is clear that you have bacterial vaginosis. You have been rightly prescribed Metranidazole. About 20% of them do not respond to it. So go back to your doctor for follow up. Discuss with her and use a course of Clindamycin ovules.
Do not have sexual intercourse during treatment period.

Do not use douches, perfumes, etc.
Use loose cotton garments.
Eat healthy diet and take multivitamins to boost your immunity.
