Smoke Marijuana, Get Nauseous, Having Panic Attacks. Had Marijuana Hypermesis. How To Quit?

Hi I smoke marijuana. I have for about 3 years now. about a year ago I started smoking it in the form of poppers which is when you rip off a piece of a cigarette and slide it into a metal tube, then it's stamped into a pile of marijuana and smoked from a bong. I understand that smoking weed can have bad effects for some people but a few months ago I began experiencing horrible panic attacks at night as well as sometimes during the day usually associated with moments when my thoughts or senses of my surroundings are much more focused upon and vivid. And the more I smoke them I get nauseous. I've had marijuana hypermesis, and I also have great trouble releasing gas from either ends. However I recently started smoking my pipe (only cannabis) and I find I am able to eat more I can sleep slightly better and all in all I feel better. I understand that marijuana hypermesis is a generally newfound ailment. And poppers are a generally new trend as well. Could this be what is ultimately causing my discomfort. I am very troubled by this because I have become happier since I've started smoking cannabis as I have struggled depression for most of my life before. And if this is a possibility how can I quit poppers as they are extremely addictive and all my friends smoke them including my partner. But still smoke marijuana.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for using healthcare magic.

I have gone through your history.

Marijuana, canabis are known to cause panic attacks.
You should contact psychiatrist/deaddiction center for detailed evaluation of associated psychiatric illness if any.

You may get benfit by de-addiction psychotherapy along with drugs that helps to control present symptoms like clonazepam for panic attack.

You may do stress management , relaxation exercise for better control over stress if any .

Thanks.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
When you know very well that hyper emesis ant other symptoms are due to marizuana or cannabis, hwy not get rid of these .
In my opinion consult a psychiatrist and get his opinion & treatment.
Good luck.
