So I am a healthy 50 year old female. Have anxiety and mild depression. On Zoloft and Xanax prn.Had routine blood work, CBC, CMP, lipid profile... All normal except low vitamin d and low albumin. I took a laxative the night before that I take for occasional constipation and had some diarrhea in am before blood work. Also took a Xanax that morning due to nervousness at dr appointment. What could cause this low albumin level? It was 1.4. Normal three years ago.very worried. Dr. Not concerned, said she would just repeat in a month.
