Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
So I had my tendons severed in my middle finger with a rock back when I was roughly 13-14 I went to the wrong and had a next day surgery scheduled to reattach the tendons, well clearly I had to re strengthen them some how and when we had talked about it prior to the surgery the doctor performing my surgery had said he was going to super glue some fishing line like material to the tip of my finger so when my cast was fitted it would have a spring to attach it to to work it out. So I was given anesthesia cause I was young and it was just easier and when I woke up rather than super glueing the fishing line to my finger he pierced my nail and the tip of my finger and put it through the hole he created which wasn't a big deal at the time my finger got better I gained almost 100 percent range of motion with it even but now I have scar tissue under my finger nail from the fishing line and I have a nail growing off of it and it's creating pain, nothing excruciating just enough to make you irritated and want to fix it I can't afford a doctor really and was wondering if there is a semi pain free way of taking care of it cause it wasn't bothering me till the nail started growing under my nail
