So I recieved oral from a girl who had no signs of a coldsore on her mouth until about 2 weeks after I got oral from her she told me she had a coldsore. About 3 weeks to a month later after the oral sex or I got these painless, red sores (3 of them) in a cluster on my waistline where my underwear band would sit. They turned purplish brown and scaly after two weeks or so which means they were probably healing. I went to the doctor asap and he said it was herpes but did not take a swab for it and then sent me for a blood test but did not even test for it. So he got the lab to retest the blood which obviously came back as a false negative. The sores eventually went away, he did give me pills to take to make the sores go away, they did after if I remember correctly 2-3 weeks(whether or not the pills helped I don't know) So I waited about 6 months and went back for another test which came back negative. I am still confused because I have never had another outbreak and I realize some people are asymptomatic and may never 'show' if you will another outbreak after their initial outbreak. I have however had what can be best described as a very dull, achy pain right where the sores used to be but it hurts more often than not, my question is and I realize everyone may be different, but does this sound like maybe I got genital HSV1? I think the safest answer would be to just go get tested again? Its been awhile since I tested(have not been sexually active as I am too paranoid about passing it on)
Thanks for your help
