So I Was Eating Chips But I Swallowed A Small

So I was eating chips but I swallowed a small chip and all of a sudden my ear was starting to hurt. I drank lots of water and the plain stop. But I'm not sure if it went away. Do you think it went away I'm not sure what to do if it didn't go away. There is no pain.
