So I Went Today To See What My Pap Smear

So I went today to see what my Pap smear results were, and my doctor said it came back positive, but I asked her if I should worry or if it could go away with time and she said first I needed to get my vaccines up to date and in 6 months she would perform another test. But I'm so confused and it makes me feel sad and depressed because she wasn't very explicit. Could the virus go away, and live a life virus free? I'm a low-risk with non visible warts( she said they were inside) please I need help, I'm going crazy here.
