Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
So for the past 17 days I've been in and out of hospitals and eye doctors offices. Address of your case of viral conjunctivitis in both eyes it took forever to finally get the proper treatment but I did 5 days ago I got a steroid and an antibiotic to put in and it did amazing it cleared up well however 2 days ago I felt like there was sand in my left eye so instead of doing too much drinking or too much rubbing or flipping or pooling of my eye I just see me we made an eye appointment and I told me I had a scratched cornea on my left eye they never went into detail about the severity of it my vision is blurry but I can still see things. In the beginning of my viral conjunctivitis I had scratched my cornea and my right eye and my vision is still a little blurry but starting to come back slowly. Lately I've been noticing a lot of itchy feeling mainly in my right eye that looks normal again I'm not sure if this means it's healing or healed considering I have no problem with it anymore other than an itchy feeling I'm not sure what to think of it. My left right time itches as well but I was wondering if swelling is normal with a scratched cornea? I have had 100 question and Google hasn't been answering anything for me! Hopefully someone here can.
