So My Daughter Is 10 Months Old Today. When I

So my daughter is 10 months old today. When I ahd her I had an emergency c section. They thought the cord was around a body part because her heart rate would drop when I had a contraction. I had protein and sugar in my urine. I had swelling and head aches. I had her September 26 and my legs and feet were so swelled it hurt to walk for about 2 weeks. on October 15 I was still having "contraction". I was breast feeding and still bleeding heavy. I didn't know it wasn't normal but I had a contraction and something was coming out. I pulled and it was the rest of my placenta (not a small piece, pretty big). So the dr gave me medicine to have contraction to help get my uterus clear. He did an ultrasound and all he said he saw was a blood clot. He was suppose to do another ultrasound to see if I needed a DNC (sp?). He never did one. Well I still am having "contraction" like feeling ever once in a while. Today I had 3 in the matter of 5 minutes. Do you think this is normal or could there be something wrong?
