Sore Chest On Coughing After An Injury While Exercising. Chances Of Damaging Bones?

I was on my exercise machine , but hadnt secured a pin in properly and whilst swinging side to side on it (not very fast) the pin dislodged & I fell off, only a matter of inches but I banged the left side of my chest , it rather sore when I cough or breathe deeply, it feels to be on my left breast , could I have damaged something?

According to your history most likely you have injured your ribs.
There can be rib contusion or hair line fracture.
I advise you to take x ray chest ,take analgesic ,rest and rib belt.

May take 3 weeks to heal.
