Sore Eyelids, Red, Irritated. Applied Cream. Remedy?

My eyelids have recently become very sore , red & irritated after I wash my face. I put Jergens moisture cream on them & it seems to soothe them.....this lasts for about one half hour & it gradually goes away. I've tried different soaps but it still happens. Right now I'm using Ivory soap...it's so annoying!!!!! YYYY@YYYY

Hi,
It seems from the history that you are having irritation of the eye lids, redness and soreness of eye lids following washing of face indicate contact dermatoconjunctivitis because of contact with the soaps you use. It is because of allergy to soap you are using. Try using different combination of soap for which you may be not be allergic.
The treatment of your condition is basically by discontionuing the allergic agent and by using antiallergic drugs to get symptomatic relief.
Thank you
