Hello,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.

I suspect tingling and numbness on left side of face as well as needles sensation in body may be due to compression of nerves in central and Peripheral nervous system by whiplash injury.

Sometimes Whiplash injury cause severe damage.
Damage to nerves in central nervous system is due to stretching and twisting of nervous tissues.

In severe whiplash injury, compression injury can affect the brain and cause subdural and extradural hematomas.
If the greater force is involved, it may cause severe neurological dysfunction.

Symptoms may be due to the compression injury.

Thus i advise you to do investigations like MRI brain and spine, CT brain and spine.

Electromyogram ( EMG) helpful in assessing the healthy state of nerves and muscles.
Physiotherapy is the mainstay of treatment.
Antidepressants, NSAIDS are helpful for pain.

Hope this helps,
Take care.
