thanks for your query
History seems that you are having chronic rhinosinusitis with tonsilopharyngitis.
Greenish plegm - means its seems to be a bacterial infection.
take broad spectrum antibiotics like amoxiclav or cefalosporins
also take antihistaminic and antiinflammatory drugs like tab Chymoral plus and tab levocetrizine
also add steroid nasal spray like fluticasone nasal spray twice a day.
Thanking you

General & Family Physician Dr. Vidya KR's  Response
Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Persistent sore throat could be due to irritation which could be from nose as a postnasal drip or gastro oesophageal reflux. Better to get evaluated for that by a ENT specialist.
Now sputum production shows bacterial infection. you need to take antibiotic treatment, tab. azithromycin for 5 days.and anti inflammatory to reduce inflammation, tab. paracetamol.antihistamines to reduce congestion.
Warm salt water gargling 3 to 4 times a day.
Steam inhalation, gives you more symptomatic relief.

Consult your doctor for examination and management.
Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take care.

Regards
Dr. Vidya
