Sore Throat, Excess Saliva, Swollen Neck Lymph Nodes, Pain In Abdomen. Anything To Worry?

I've had a severe sore throat for the past week and a lot of excess saliva noticed white gunky bumps on back of throat too. Hard swallowing, no appetite, lymph nodes swollen on right side of neck, aches and pains in left upper abdominal area...went to the doctor did a urine specimen found nothing. Strep was negative. Gave me antibiotics anyways. Just finished them yesterday but haven't seemed to help any yet. Should I be worried? Or go to another doctor?

hello dear
thanks for your query at HCM
sore throat, difficulty in swallowing, lymphnode enlargement may because of pharynx infection.
1 drink plenty of water
2 do salt water or betadine gargling three times in day.
it will take some time for body to respond to infection.
take tab amoxicillin and clavuronic acid twice daily for 5 days that will be effective against upper respiratory infections.
even then not decreasing consult physician , you might go for throat swab for culture and sensitivity later and take medication accordingly.
