Sore Throat, Fever, Headache. Diagnosed As Tonsillitis, Taking Penicillin. Muscle Pain After Medication. Is This Related?
About 8 days ago I began feeling my sore throat, fever went up and had a headache, I took normal home remedies and medication such as paracetamol as I thought it was just the cold, it did not progress so on the fifth day I went to the GP and was diagnosed with tonsillitis, so for the past 3-4 days I've been taking Penicillin three times a day. Two days ago, my upper left arm/muscle began aching, it is still aching and I'm wondering if this is a symptom or related

you have
Sore throat, fever, headache since 8 days.
and your are on penicillin for diagnosed as a tonsillitis. Upper left arm/muscle began aching may be due to penicillin therefore consult your GP to switch over to other medicine because penicillin is not strictly required in the tonsillitis.

Hi,
Any infection in the body can give rise to malaise, body ache, headache, lethargy and fever due to toxins produced by the pathogens.
In Tonsillitis you get same symptoms as well.
Continue with antibiotic and you will be alright.
Meanwhile you may take paracetamol tablet as and when required.
Ok and take care.

ANTISEPTIC MOUTH WASH GArgles
