Sore Throat Followed By Fever, Took Paracetamol, Cetrizine. Now Legs And Hands Are Hot, Dry Cough. What To Do ?
Good morning doctor,
In June 1st week i had sore throat,the one tht happens just before a cold with little pain. The next day i had high fever,i took paracetamol and cetrizine , i went to a doctor who gave me azithromycin and cetrizine for 5 days. After that i had runny nose for 3-4 days not not mucous.Just water came out 1-3 times day. then iit subsided. There was no fever in 3rd week, no cough,no cold.But 4th week of June my palms of legs and hands,my tough and eyes used to get hot. Palms of legs used to get v hot and i started getg dry cough. This continued for a week after which i visited a doctor on 1st of July. He diagnosed it as GERD and gave me domperidone,b-complex and cough syrup and ranitidine. After one week i was well. But then i ate banana (2-3) and shrikand(1-2 spons) for 3 days, after which again i have stated getting same type of fever with palms of hands and feet hot and tongue hot and gets white.there are no patches but just gets coated white. I have started to gargle and there is some relief in cough but my palms and tongue is still warm . Please advise. Thank you.

Thank for choosing HCM, You have had viral rhinitis, just symptomatic medicine would enough for this, but you have given antibiotic without any strong indication, another drugs was also not indicated, simple second generation antihistamine would work very nicely but most important remedy is steam inhalation one need to take it frequently, take all kind of hot drink saline spray is good for stuffy nose,, have good day.
