Sore Throat, Pain In Swallowing And Pus Like Substance On Back Of Throat. What Is This?
Hi, female, 18, in a high-stress environment. I have a sore throat with pain swallowing and some coughing. I have had it for awhile now. Don't feel sick otherwise, was tested for strep (negative) and had a pus pocket looking thing in the back of my throat, as well as a red line on the corner. Mouth is somewhat achy. What is this?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. There are other varieties of the sore throat secondary to the cold, or some infection in the mouth, or teeth. They usually be bacterial infection, due to spread of infection, from the basic infection. I advise you to consult an E.N.T.surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms erythromycin, phenyl propolamine, paracetamol, and chlor pheneramine maleate. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
