Sore Throat, Pulsating Sensation. Prescribed Fungillin. Is It Related To Knee Injury?
I have had a sore throat down in my neck where you would feel for a pulse. I have no lump and the doctor prescribed fungillin lozenges (sucking 4 per day for 5 days) and I am on day 4 of the course. My throat feels like it has been hurt somehow (I know that sounds weird) on the inside. Throat started getting sore 1 week after having knee surgery. I wonder if the breathing tube that goes into your mouth, somehow they had trouble getting this in and have scraped the inside of my throat??.
Hi, It seems that your problem might be due to introducing tracheal tube and some irritation or bruises might be there due to minor injury to mucous membrane in throat. Do hot water or antiseptic mouth lotion gargles. Avoid fried and spicy food for few days. Ok and take care.
