Sore Throat, Swollen And Itchy Uvula, Headache, Abdominal Pain. Suggest
Hi I have been having this sore throat for 5 days now and it feels like my Uvula is swollen and touching my tongue- its itchy and it feels like when ever I wanna breath I must cough or try get flem out- I'm tired and have a mild headache and it feels like I'm going to lose my voice any minute and I'm experiecing slight abdominal pain. dear kandice, the history and as per the findings of the throat you seems to be having pharyngitis( infection of throat).
yop need top start with broad spectrum antibiotic like amoxicillin 500 mg thrice daily.
with analgesics .
warm saline gargles or betadine gargles should be done thrice daily after meal.
take some rest
