I have over 4 white spots on my throat, but they look like pieces of oatmeal (best I can describe it) and a sore throat . But I m not hoarse. Any ideas what this may be?
Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
This condition of yours is known as granular pharyngitis, those white flakes like thing which you notice on the pharyngeal wall are the pus filled follicles. Drink plenty of warm water, you can do gargles with povidone iodine solution and if the symptoms does not improve please contact your ENT specialist.
Take Care.
