Soreness, Swelling And Unable To Flex After A Cut On Thumb. Could It Be Infected?
Hi I cut my thumb (knuckle side) really bad about a month ago when the center blade piece from my blender fell on it ,it bled quiet a bit but now the skin has completely healed. I noticed though that there is still some soreness and its pretty swollen/ puffy, I also cannot completely flex the thumb( like giving a thumbs up) could it be infected or something?

No this does not seems infection but this could be a fracture part and that might be responsible for unable to flex the joint, I would advise you to get done the x-ray of your thumbs and if needed have opinion from the orthopedic surgeon, have nice day.
