Sour Milk Odour From Body, Bad Hygiene. What May Be Wrong?
Hi. Since yesterday I have had a strange onset of a sour milk odour coming form my body. I clean thoroughly every day so do not think its due to bad hygiene. My clothes are washed regularly, in addition I am wearing different clothes from yesterday (obviously) and can still smell sour milk (only way to describe the smell. A type of sour smell). Is this a cause for concern? Should I have it checked out? Or is it easily explainable? I have been on the same vitamins and minerals for a month now and this is the first time I have ever smelt like this. I do take milk thistle. Could that cause the smell? I have been taking it for over a month now. I would really appreciate your help.
Hello,
You seem to be suffering from Bromhidrosis. The bacterial colony residing in the skin especially over armpits and groin is responsible for this bad odor. Apply fusidic acid cream over axilla and groin twice a day for a week. Use antiseptic soap for bath for a week. A course of Oral antibiotic like Roxithromycin also will help but you need a prescription for it. Shaving of under arm hair once will accelerate curing time. Use a deo spray containing anti perspirant like aluminium chloride.
Hope this helped
Take care
