Spells Of Jaw Stiffness, Heaviness In Arms, Leg Pain, Headache And Vomiting. Diagnosed To Be Cervical. Correct Diagnosis?
there is stiffness in jaws ..sometimes there is a slight heaviness in left arm and pain in left leg...this continues for many days and then stops....and then again appears out of nowhere ....stiffness in jaws...doctors told me that i have survical....and nowadays i m suffering from headaches ,and vomiting ....is my diagnosis correct or it is something else
Hi and thanks fir the query,
The generalized body stiffness you are suffering to me requires a proper rheumatological screen. It looks more of a disease of the articulations, chronic autoimmune disease. Rheumatoid arthritis, Acute rheumatic fever based on your past history and family history are important aspects that shall be taken into consideration during the evaluation process. Serum electrolytes, especially measuring blood Calcium and Magnesium levels shall also be important, for low Calcium levels may as well contribute to stiffness and cramps.
I suggest you consult a rheumatologist for his own specialist opinion.
Thanks and best regards,
Luchuo, MD.
