My husband has spinal stinosis and arthritis in his lower back. His back is very weak and he has trouble walking long sistances and walks hunched over. He is 74 yrs. old and is taking coumadin. How can he be helped? What type of doctor should he see and what type of tratments would work aside from surgery? He alrady tried shots but they did not work.
thanks for writing to us If epidural injections are not helping much then you need decompression surgery . you need to consult orthopaedic spine surgeon. Start neck and back strengthening exercises.
